Privacy Policy

verified.work ("we", "us", "our") operates verifiedwork.co, a service for building a professional profile of work that people who were there have verified. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account & sign-in. Your email address. You sign in without a password - either with a one-time magic link sent to your email, or with Google. If you use Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name and email address).
- Your profile. The details you add to your public profile: your name, title, location, photo, LinkedIn and website links, and the profile link (handle) you choose.
- Work you add. The projects you list (role, company, dates, what you did, and outcomes), any file or link you attach as proof, and the details you provide about the person who can verify each project (their name, email, and role) so we can send them a verification request.
- Feedback and support. Anything you send us through the feedback form or by email.
- Technical & usage data. Aggregate, non-identifying information such as pages viewed and general device type (via Google Analytics), and standard server logs.
Why we collect it
- to create and run your account and your public profile;
- to send you sign-in links and to email the validators you name so they can verify your work;
- to provide, maintain, and secure the service;
- to understand, in aggregate, how the product is used; and
- to respond to your feedback and support requests.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run verified.work. They process your information only on our behalf, only to provide their service, and under their own privacy commitments:
- Supabase - authentication, database, and file storage.
- Resend - delivering our emails (sign-in links, verification requests, and notifications).
- Google - "Sign in with Google", and Google Analytics for aggregate usage.
- Vercel - hosting the site.
Validators. When you add a project and name someone to verify it, we email that person the project details you entered so they can confirm it. Only share validator emails you are entitled to use.
Your public profile is public. Once you publish your profile, the information on it - your name, title, location, photo, links, and your verified projects (including the validator's name and their endorsement) - is visible to anyone who has the link. Your email address is never shown on your public profile.
We never hand your details to other companies for their own marketing. The only exception to any of the above is where we are required to disclose information by law.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and for the site to function. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate - but we run it in a cookieless, privacy-first mode (Google Consent Mode with storage denied), so it sets no analytics cookies and stores no personal data on your device. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not use analytics to identify you personally.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, projects, validator records, and uploaded files are permanently removed. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit the information on your profile from Settings, and you can delete your account (and everything in it) at any time. You can also ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you - just email admin@verifiedwork.co.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
